Life is full of consequential opportunities.

In spite of many years experience in fields such as Performance Analysis and Design, Programming, Quality Assurance, Technical Documentation Writing, Statistics and Auditing, reinforcing an Honours Degree in Computing, my creative juices took the middle life crisis path and, seizing an opportunity, my life long hobby took a serious turn as I plunged myself into the world of Professional Photography.

Training over, Lightscape Creations was born.

I offered Portrait Photography and Landscape Photography services and products, some of which to small local businesses, sliding naturally into Commercial Photography. 

As I love taking photos, I started to photograph all the events I attended.  This turned into invaluable training as well as attracting the attention of events providers and I started to receive requests for Events Photography. 

When I met a Wedding Designer Florist who needed to show off her flowers in the best light, I had no idea that I would become her official photographer, a very flattering position I have now held for a long time.  Amongst other things, this has enabled me to work with and train amateur models, one of which I am now preparing to become a professional model, working on a Professional Model Portfolio.  Yet, it was only natural for me to become a Wedding Photographer.

Meanwhile, my technical juices kicked back in as I realised that I had a wealth of expertise in fields such as Web Design, Search Engine Optimisation and Digital Artistry, a by-product of starting a business and creating two websites and stationery for myself.

A little research revealed that there was a gap in the market to fill for people who wanted to create their own websites but lacked the technical  knowledge and confidence to do it alone.  This is when I launched my Website Consultancy Services, offering comprehensive solutions targeted towards small to medium businesses on a budget and private customers.

Not only do I coach them on a one-to-one basis in creating their own professional websites, using cheaper solutions readily available on the internet, but I also provide targeted information which enables them to make the right decisions.  I help them get online fast and be visible, the basis of a successful website and business, and they save a huge amount of time and money by doing it themselves.

The services include Business Portraits, Product Photography, Stock Photography, Logo Design Studies and Graphical Artistry for stationery, which all have been quite popular.

So life is full of consequential opportunities, one leading to another.  After many years in the industry, opportunities have allowed me to become a Wedding, Portrait and Events Photographer, capturing some of the most beautiful moments in people's lives.  More opportunities have trained me into a Commercial Photographer and Website Consultant, targeting my services to small and medium sized businesses which tend to have restricted budgets but a greater need to promote their businesses fast and professionally.  This, in turn, creates new opportunities...  Helping you is what I do best and I love it.
